Regular Dredging of Major Waterways in Marina Catchment

The dredging works comprises of desilt/ dredge the waterways by grab, suction, combination of both to the depths of the proposed levels. The dredging works at Marina Catchment is also known as Central Catchment consists of major waterways such as Kallang River, Rochor Canal, Singapore River, Geylang River, eg. In views of the surrounded commercial and residential estates, the dredged materials are to be dewatered on site before being transported for disposal in the approved dumping ground. Works are conducted with minimal noise, smell and aesthetic implications.
